Gene Davis, Esq.
A native of Raleigh, Gene has practiced law in Raleigh since 1997, founding Gene Davis Law in 2006. Gene attended undergraduate and law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as president of the North Carolina Association of Student Governments and was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. Gene also has a certificate of nonprofit management and attended La Sorbonne in Paris, earning a certificate in the French language.
Gene is passionate about affordable housing, the arts and North Carolina, and has served in numerous positions supporting such initiatives.
Gene is married to Mary Kaitland Stuart Davis and has three children. They reside in Raleigh.
Chelsea Raposa Dingman | Real Estate Paralegal
Relocated to Raleigh NC in 2006 From Coventry, Rhode Island. Chelsea graduated from East Wake High School in 2007. Post-graduation she began studying for an associate degree in Healthcare Administration while waitressing at a local tavern—which is where she met her husband, Conner, back in 2012. The two have since built a great foundation rooted in hard work and support for one another.
Chelsea’s mindset shifted from healthcare to real estate when she began her paralegal certifications and joined Gene Davis Law in 2018 where she works alongside her mentor and marriage officiant himself, Gene Davis. She credits him for everything she has learned in this industry and for making her more comfortable in her role and more efficient each day. She is also thankful for their small team and the efforts put in each day to maintain such a strong and distinguished group of clients.
Chelsea, previously Raposa, became Mrs. Dingman in October 2020 and currently resides in North Raleigh with Conner, their 2 dogs: Rylee, a yellow Lab & Harlow, a Great Dane. For fun, Chelsea enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking delicious meals, watching movies & completing DIY projects around the house.
