GENE DAVIS, lead attorney and counsel
Gene is a Raleigh native and has been practicing law in Raleigh for eighteen years. He works with wonderful individuals, small businesses, and medium-size businesses on matters ranging from real estate closings, business formation and growth, estate planning, estate administration, eminent domain, and real estate development. Gene graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School where he has served as president of the Alumni Council and has been inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame. He earned both his bachelors’ and law degree from the University of North Carolina. Gene is actively involved in his church, Hayes Barton United Methodist, and loves serving the community including presently serving on the Board of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, the Board of Trustees of the North Carolina Museum of Art, and as Vice Chair of the Raleigh Arts Commission.
HARRY JOHNSON, associate attorney
Harry is a 2014 graduate of UNC School of Law and is admitted to practice law in North Carolina. He also holds a Masters’ degree from UNC Chapel Hill in City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s degree from UNC Asheville. Harry focuses on the areas of business formation and contract review, estate planning, real estate, and land use and zoning issues. He serves on the board of the Raleigh Bike and Pedestrian Advisory Commission and previously served on the Alumni Council of UNC Asheville.
JUSTIN WILLIAMS, Fiduciary Accountant
Justin D. Williams serves our firm and clients in the area of Fiduciary Accounting, specializing in the area of estate administration. He is an eight-year veteran of the Wake County Clerk of Superior Court’s Estates Division where he served as Deputy Clerk of Superior Court as an Ex Officio Judge of Probate. Mr. Williams’ time with the Wake County Court has given him extensive experience in the management and administration of estates and trusts. He is a native of Wake County and a graduate of Campbell University and Wake Christian Academy. He serves on the boards of the North Carolina State Capitol Foundation and the Extra Special Super Kids Scholarship Program.
KIMBERLY COUGHLIN, Paralegal
Kimberly assists our clients in the area of Real Estate Closings. She joined Gene Davis Law, PLLC after receiving a paralegal certificate from Duke University. She primarily assists with the real estate practice group at the firm and is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. Before joining the legal profession, Kimberly attended Longwood University and San Diego State University where she received a teaching credential in Special Education and taught children with autism.
ROD DAVIS, Director of Office Morale and Management
Rod effectively serves as an officer manager of Gene Davis Law, PLLC and makes certain all in the office and all of our clients are smiling and having fun! He graduated from Furman University with a degree in business. After a long career with IBM, he has been helping his son, Gene, with managing the office. He especially enjoys spending time with his grandchildren — particularly when they stop by the office in the middle of the day.
